We are excited to welcome you to our college. We are one of the best kept secrets at Boise State. You can start school and land an excellent job within 4 -24 months! Our graduates are in high demand. Over 300 employers serve as advisors to our programs and many of our students get hired before they finish their programs!

These admissions pages will provide you everything you need to know to complete your admissions process.

It is very important to apply as soon as you think you might want to attend school here.

Applying For Admission

It is vital that you apply for admission as soon as you think you might want to enroll here. Our capacity for students is limited ( many programs can only accept 20 students or less) and there are times when a program may be full - up to a year in advance.

If a program is full, you can still apply for admission. Once all of your admissions materials are in place, you have met Compass criteria and have paid your fees, you can be added to an alternate list for the program you want if it is full.

There is a good chance that a student may drop out and you could be able to land the next available seat in a class.

Most programs start each year in August. A limited number of programs have an additional start date in January. This is also the time to apply for financial aid.

You must have your tax return and in some cases, your parents tax return completed before you can apply for aid.

Everyone who is considering college should apply for financial aid. Even if you don't need it now, circumstances may change and if you need it, it is a relief to know it is available to you. (Note: Almost all students qualify for some form of aid- regardless of income level or assets.

Free Career Advising Even Before You Apply For Admission

It would be our pleasure to meet with you anytime to talk about your college plans. Our advisors have years of experience working with students like you. We welcome those who want to visit with us prior to making a final decision about any career college in the area.

There are several great schools within miles of our campus. These schools are called " Private or Proprietary" schools. They have good programs but tend to be very expensive.

We are able to provide similar training at a cost that is up to $20,000 less than other local schools. Our quality is similar to what they offer, but our students have access to many other services small schools cannot provide. Our prices are thousands less than other schools because are funded in part by state tax dollars. Our educational advisors, are happy to meet with you to discuss options you are considering. They are not salespeople. They will give you their honest and objective opinion about your training options with us and with other schools. There are times when it does make sense to pay the additional thousands of dollars it takes to attend a private school. We can help you make the best decision for your unique situation.

Advisors can also talk with you at our Boise or Nampa locations. They can help with the admissions and financial aid application process. Hours are Monday - Friday 8 am - 5 pm. Evening appointments are available upon request. Call 426-1431 to schedule an appointment.
